Holt to Holt Challenge

The Holt School based in Wokingham, is a secondary comprehensive girls school with International Language College Status. In late 2008 we formed a partnership with the school and the company has been sponsoring the "Holt to Holt Challenges", a series of competitions run by the Design and Technology Faculty

In the most recent challenge, the company provided a basic aluminum chassis, from which the students constructed a vehicle to safely carry a raw egg the furthest possible distance when launched from a ramp. This was then followed by an optional crash test, where the vehicles were run into a brick wall, to see which vehicle provided the best protection for its driver.
